Barclays Premier League Top 4 Predictions For Today

Bournemouth have been in turmoil since adding top striker Callum Wilson to their huge injury list. The southern side haven’t won in 6 games, and only took a point on one of those occasions.

Barclays Premier League Top 4 Predictions

Newcastle did well to draw last weekend, whilst keeping a clean sheet for the first time since August, and they had the better of the chances.

It’s a long trip but Newcastle have enough quality to get a win at Dean Court and most likely will with the game.

Bournemouth 0-2 Newcastle

Leicester City v Watford, Saturday 15:00

The only game that Leicester have lost this season has been at home, to Arsenal. Though the Hornets are building up some good form, they’re no Arsenal.

The sides drew when they met in February 2014, when they were both Championship teams, the game ended in a 2-all draw but both teams are almost completely different since their last bout.

Leicester’s incredible never say die attitude has been a huge part of their success this season and it’s very unlikely that they’ll add a second loss to their season this weekend.

Leicester 3-1 Watford

Manchester United v West Bromwich Albion, Saturday 15:00

United haven’t defeated West Brom at Old Trafford since 2012, and theBaggies have taken all 3 points in both match ups since.

Whilst the Red Devils only have 2 goals in their last 5 games, Albion are in a decent run of form, and were quite unlucky to lose to Leicester last week, due to some questionable decisions by the referee.

The goals have dried up for Manchester United and manager Louis van Gaal is to stubborn to change his lacklustre formation and so the drought is likely to continue against this rugged West Brom side. The only redeeming factor for United is that their defence, mainly Chris Smalling, is solid.

There is no shortage of competition in the goalscoring charts, with candidates from Liverpool, Manchester City and more

The race for the Premier League Golden Boot is typically competitive, with some of the best attackers in world football playing in the division.

A haul of over 20 goals is usually required to come out on top and there are plenty of candidates in the mix this season.

Harry Kane, Sergio Aguero and Mohamed Salah, who have all won the accolade before, should be there or thereabouts, but there is always room for a surprise package.

Premier League 2020-21 Top Scorers

Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah, Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Tottenham's Son Heung-min are the early pace-setters in the race for the Golden Boot, having surged out in front in the opening gameweeks.

Leicester forward Jamie Vardy continues to hit the back of the net for the Foxes with regularity, while Manchester United playmaker Bruno Fernandes has been prolific on the scoresheet, thanks in some part to his status as chief penalty taker at Old Trafford.

Harry Kane has rediscovered a scoring touch that faltered in recent seasons and Leeds United will be pleased with Patrick Bamford's contributions in front of goal.
