Now, that I’ve established that this fight will most likely go the distance, we can turn to the prop bet on who will win the fight if it goes to the judges:

Let’s eliminate the Draw betting option right off the bat. Broner just fought to a Draw against Vargas 9 months ago, so I don’t see it happening again. Furthermore, Pacquiao hasn’t fought to a Draw since 2004, which was the second of his career. His first Draw came in 2001. Although the +2000 betting odds is appealing, it’s not worth the risk.
Between Broner and Pacquiao, the odds on favorite to win via Decision is Manny. For Broner, only 27% of his wins have come via Decision. However, all three of his losses have come via Decision. For Manny, 30% of his wins have come via decision and 57% of his losses (4 of them) have come via Decision.
If this fight goes the distance then Manny should be up big on the scorecards as he will outwork Broner and never look back.

Broner’s last win in rounds 4 to 6 came nearly 6 years ago when he defeated Gavin Rees. Pacquiao hasn’t defeated anyone in these rounds since 2005 against Hector Velazquez. However, Manny did lose to Juan Manuel Marquez in the 6th round back in 2012. Manny still talks about that and swears he will never make that mistake again.

I think it’s safe to say that Broner won’t be able to duplicate what JMM did to Pacquiao.
Broner’s last fight to end in rounds 7 to 9 was in 2016 when he defeated Ashley Theophane via TKO. Pacquiao KO’d Lucas Matthysse in the 7th round of their fight last July. This group of rounds does offer some betting potential.
More than likely, if this fight doesn’t go the distance then I see it being stopped somewhere in rounds 10 to 12. Pacquiao’s last fight to enter these rounds without going the distance was in 2009 when he finished off Miguel Cotto via TKO in the 12th for the WBO welterweight title.

Who Wins the Fight: Pacquiao or Broner?
I think it’s clear by now that I believe Manny Pacquiao will win this fight, especially if Floyd Mayweather Jr. is in attendance. Even at the age of 40, Pacquiao is still a better fighter than Broner. All three of Adrien’s losses have come when he fought in the welterweight division, which is the weight class that this bout will be contested at.
Manny Pacquiao throws a lot of punches and from all angles. Additionally, he’s aggressive and will put the pressure on Broner all night long. In the final presser, Pacquiao alluded to this:

“I’m going to beat him up and have a drink with him afterward. I grew up in boxing and I know what’s going on. It’s a business, but don’t get it twisted, I’m going to dominate and win. This is going to be a hell of a fight. I’ve trained so hard and I want everyone to know that I play around a lot, but when that bell rings, I’m going to be ready. I didn’t come here to lose or lay down. I came here to get this victory. Real talk.”
Unfortunately for Broner and his fans, I don’t see this happening. Adrien doesn’t possess the skill set to knockout Manny like Juan Manuel Marquez, who is the perfect foe for Pacquiao. With that said, Broner won’t be able to outwork Pacquiao in this fight either.
